Lookout Credit Union Featured in Award Winning National Broadcast Educational Series “Viewpoint with Dennis Quaid”

Lookout Credit Union, a leading financial institution serving Southeast Idaho since 1952, is excited to announce its featured appearance on the highly acclaimed educational series, “Viewpoint with Dennis Quaid.” This popular nationwide broadcast showcases and dives deep into prominent organizations, highlighting the achievements of the unique businesses in America. From Fortune 500 companies, down to the hometown financial institutions who know your name.

CEO and President Doug Chambers, says the team eagerly embraced the opportunity to showcase the exceptional accomplishments of the credit union brand, and how far they’ve come over the last 70 years. The featured episode highlights the influence of community financial institutions and their indispensable role in small towns across the US.

BJ Fillingame, VP of Marketing, adds “Credit unions are vital for the community as they provide accessible financial services, and promote economic growth in the community. By offering hometown service and local decision-making, we cater to the unique needs of our community members and reinvest back into the local Idaho economy.”

This was evident as filming occurred at their newly opened Lookout Point Park, a vibrant downtown park in Pocatello, Idaho, that just opened in June 2023. Revitalized with over a million dollar investment from Lookout Credit Union, the park has already proven to be a busy hub for local events and community gatherings. Filming also occurred at their administration building… a building uniquely mixed with colorful murals from a local artist, and bright paintings of the Idaho outdoor landscape.

The broadcast is scheduled to air in September 2023, on esteemed channels such as CNN, CNN Headline News, MSNBC, CNBC, Fox News, Fox Business Network, TLC, Travel and Discovery. Additionally, the episode is expected to be distributed to Public Television affiliates during the Fall of 2023.
