Lookout Credit Union Promotes Blake Roemer to Chief Lending Officer (CLO)

Lookout Credit Union is proud to announce the promotion of Blake Roemer to Chief Lending Officer (CLO). In his new role, Blake will oversee all consumer, mortgage and business loan departments.

Blake has a wealth of knowledge in all types of lending, stemming from his over 15 years of experience in the financial services industry. “Blake is a perfect addition to the Lookout executive team. His experience, business savvy, and personal touch are matched only by his commitment to bettering the communities we serve. We are lucky and excited to work with Blake,” said Doug Chambers, President/CEO of Lookout Credit Union.

Blake is a 4th generation Idahoan, born and raised in the Magic Valley (Jerome, ID). Upon graduating from Boise State University in 2010, Blake moved to Pocatello to pursue his career in commercial lending and management. In 2015, Blake obtained his Master of Business Administration degree from Idaho State University!

I've had wonderful mentors over the course of my career, and I know this success is reflective of those individuals and organizations that guided me along the way," said Blake Roemer, Chief Lending Officer of Lookout Credit Union.

Over the past 15 years, Blake has been involved in many community organizations and boards in Pocatello. These current roles include:

  • Committee Chairman for the Pocatello Chamber of Commerce Legislative Committee
  • Committee Member for S/E Idaho Council of Governments Revolving Loan Fund
  • Board Member with ISU Bengal Athletic Boosters
  • Board Member with Pocatello Chamber of Commerce Board of Directors
  • Board Member with Portneuf Health Trust 

Blake is proud to call Pocatello home. Some of his favorite activities are skiing at Pebble Creek, hiking and biking the local trail system, camping all over Idaho, and introducing his 4-year-old son to all the wonderful outdoor activities Pocatello and Idaho have to offer.
